Congratulations to Dr. Xiaoting Zhang!

Dr. Xiaoting Zhang, Professor in the COM Department of Cancer Biology and the Thomas F. Boat, MD Endowed Chair & Director of the Breast Cancer Research Program, was awarded the NIH STTR Phase I grant entitled, “Overcoming Breast Cancer Therapeutic Resistance by Multifunctional RNA Nanoparticles,” to RNA Nanotherapeutics, LLC and the University of Cincinnati. The project will further develop the MED1 targeting RNA nanotechnology and test its efficacy and toxicity in vivo to overcome breast cancer treatment resistance.
