Congratulations to Dr. Amanda Wasylishen!

Dr. Amanda Wasylishen, Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an administrative supplement to an R01 grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled “Histone chaperones and cell state regulation" is part of a program to understand the epigenetic regulation of cell state in the pancreas and how loss of this regulation contributes to pancreatic diseases, including cancer. This award provides support to promote diversity in health-related research for Samantha Zumwalde.
