Congratulations to Dr. Jiajie Diao!

Dr. Jiajie Diao, Associate Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology, has been awarded an R35 renewal grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) of the National Institutes of Health. The grant entitled “The crosstalk of organelles involved in autophagosome biogenesis" is a Maximizing Investigators' Research Award (MIRA) to increase the efficiency of NIGMS funding by providing investigators with greater stability and flexibility, thereby enhancing scientific productivity and the chances for important breakthroughs.
