Congratulations to Drs. Yanbo Fan and Wa Du!

Dr. Yanbo Fan, Associate Professor, and Dr. Wa Du (MPI), Research Instructor, in the Department of Cancer Biology have been awarded an R01 grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health. The grant, entitled, “Alleviation of Chemotherapy-Induced Cardiovascular Toxicity,” aims to uncover the underlying mechanisms in Cardio-Oncology, deepen the understanding of endothelial cell involvement in chemotherapy-induced cardiovascular toxicity, and identify potential therapeutic targets to mitigate these cardiovascular complications.
